Leather

Leather is an animal skin - everything from calf to crocodile -that has been tanned. This means that the leather has been softened and made durable. Depending on the tanning process and finishing, the leather will have different properties and looks. A leather shoe is made from the outside of the animal skin while the suede is the inside that has been sanded.
